Nurse Practitioners are registered nurses who have advanced training in women's health. Each Nurse Practitioner at Paragon has a master's of science in nursing and has passed a national certification examination. Our Nurse Practitioners have taken advanced training in pharmacology and can write prescriptions for women under their care.
Nurse Practitioners can provide a variety of care, including:
• Well woman gynecologic care
• Preconception care
• Prenatal care
• Family planning assistance
• Contraception counseling
• Health maintenance counseling
• Menopausal management
Nurse Practitioners work closely with our physicians should any problems arise which would require their care.
