Paragon Health Associates offers a wide range of options for your obstetrical and gynecologic care. Our goal is to provide the type of care that most closely meets your needs. Physician care is provided by our board certified/board eligible obstetrician-gynecologists. Advanced practice nurses (Nurse Practitioners and Certified Nurse-Midwives) are also available for your care. Our advanced practice nurses are registered nurses who have received a master’s level education and training to become specialists in health promotion and health education. Advanced practice nurses care for well women of all ages in conjunction with our physicians. In addition, we offer the region’s largest Certified Nurse-Midwife program. Qualifying low risk patients receive care from our Certified Nurse-Midwives throughout their pregnancy, labor and delivery at the hospital. Our physicians are immediately available to the midwives should a problem arise.
